Lines are up for the wildcard games and here's my take.



Sat:

StL +4
- Niether one of these teams are very good and Sea has no business being favored by more than a filed goal. Take the points in this ugly game.

Superchargers -5.5
- A good matchup for the Bolts here. Yes they lost to the Jets earlier this year but this team has improved greatly since then. Pennington's arm is obviously hurt and he cannot throw down field. SD will stop their run and force Pennington to throw. We control the clock and the game for a 10 point win.




Sun:
Indy -10
-Denver is not a good football team and this will get ugly early. Peyton throws for 4 TD's and Denver wins big here.

Minny +5.5
-Hoping the public drives this number up to a touchdown. While Minny has played horrible once again to close their season, GB always seems to play down to their competition and has not been the force at home this year as in year's past. Another close game where the points are a plus.





Will watch line movements and post final plays a little later.

Two nice victories last week Seven Out! Let's hope for more of the same this week.





Wild Card Round: 3-2 +4.8 units



Off to a good start hitting my top play with Indy. Still bitter about the Charger loss.

Divisional Round takes:


NYJ +9 & UNDER 35
- Two teams that match up well. Pitt has the better D and offensive numbers are close. Home filed advatage to Pitt. Another low scoring affair and anything over a TD is a plus.


StL +7.5
- A matchup of AtL strong running game behind Vick vs StL poor run D and StL passing offense vs AtL's poor passing D. Anything above 3 is good and StL could very well win outright. Just hope Martz limits his idiot play calling to a minimum.



Min +9
- The loss of Owens is a major factor and we really don't know how this Philly team can perform witout him as they have laid off the past few weeks. I think that hurts this team and anything above 7 is a plus.


NE -2.5
- Same scenorio as last year and NE prevailed 24-14. The major factor to this game are the injuries to Seymor and Law. Will definately wait before making this play.

Minny /Phil

- What to do, what to do. Everyone on Minny and line dropping fast. Will be down to 7. Looks like StL yesterday. Philly has a great D and Minny does not. Minny has only lost by more than 4 points 3 times this season. Initially I was hoping the line would go above 10. Looks like Philly is the play today.

Championship Round:

Today is a matchup of 4 good teams. Need to look at offense vs defense.

Philly vs Atl:
Philly has 9th ranked offense vs Atl's 14th ranked defense.
Atl has 20th ranked offense vs Philly's 10th ranked defense.

Better offense, better defense, playing a dome team that is average on the road in a double revenge (for them losing last two championship games at home). Philly wins today by at least 10.


Phil -6 3 units







NE vs Pitt

NE has 7th ranked offense vs Pitt's #1 ranked D.
Pitt has 16th ranked offense vs NE #9 ranked D.


Everyone knows Pitt has to run the ball today so NE will be prepared and will force the rookie to throw the ball. He will have a couple of key turnovers and Brady and company win this game by 7.

Superbowl:

Another matchup of two good teams, although by listening to everyone you wouldn't think so. No one giving Philly a chance here.

Phil #9th ranked offense vs NE #9 ranked D

NE #7 ranked offense vs Phil #10 ranked D


Fairly evenly matched teams, Neutral field, everyone on side (NE). Even though NE has a better coahing staff I will take Philly today. Reid needs to loosen up the offense and move McNabb around. As long as they win the turnover battle and do not let NE's D score, they have a legitimate chance to win. If not they lose but by no more than 4.
